Affidea Group, the largest provider of advanced diagnostics in Europe, has announced its agreement to acquire MedEuropa Romania, a distinguished cancer care provider with four medical centers across Romania. MedEuropa specializes in advanced cancer care services, including Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, and broader oncology services, all of which seamlessly integrate into Affidea's existing diagnostic and polyclinic portfolio in Romania. The acquisition strategically enhances Affidea's capabilities by adding radiotherapy services, complementing its existing offerings across Europe. This move aligns with Affidea's commitment to improving early detection and diagnosis, contributing to Romania's efforts to enhance cancer survivorship outcomes. The transaction, pending approval from the Romanian Competition Council, signifies the dedication of Affidea and MedEuropa to delivering comprehensive, integrated care solutions for oncology patients in Romania.
