NMG Successfully Completes Acquisition Of Mason Resources

 


Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. (NMG) has successfully concluded the acquisition of the entire Lac Guéret property, a significant move for the Uatnan Mining Project's advancement, as outlined in the asset purchase agreement with Mason Resources Inc. dated January 21, 2024. NMG now holds 100% ownership of Mason's Lac Guéret property, featuring 74 map-designated claims covering 3,999.52 hectares. The consideration for this acquisition involved the issuance of 6,208,210 common shares of NMG, constituting 9.25% of the pro forma issued and outstanding shares, with an additional $5,000,000 payment earmarked for Mason upon the commencement of commercial production for the Uatnan Mining Project.

This asset purchase agreement supersedes and terminates prior investment, option, and joint venture agreements between NMG and Mason, streamlining their collaboration. It underscores NMG's strategic expansion in the graphite sector, positioning the company as a key player in the industry.
