Bollegraaf will divest its AI computer vision business to Greyparrot, investing €11.8 million ($12.8M) for a non-controlling minority stake. Bollegraaf becomes a key partner for the Greyparrot Analyzer, providing 100% visibility into waste streams through AI and camera systems across 14 countries. This collaboration aims to modernize existing facilities, utilizing advanced AI to significantly boost recycling rates and monitor greenhouse gas emissions, marking a substantial shift towards a circular economy. Bollegraaf's global market share in recycling plant infrastructure, combined with Greyparrot's AI expertise, is set to introduce fully automated smart recycling plants globally.
