Bruker Corporation (Nasdaq: BRKR) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Chemspeed Technologies AG, a Swiss leader in automated laboratory R&D and QC workflow solutions, focusing on modular automation and robotics in chemical, pharma, and materials research. This strategic acquisition positions Bruker to advance its capabilities in lab automation, digitalization, and scientific software solutions, complementing its SciY™ platform. Chemspeed’s modular automation enhances productivity in R&D and QC departments, aligning with Bruker's Project Accelerate 2.0 initiative.

The transaction is set to close in H1 2024, pending regulatory reviews. Chemspeed, with revenues exceeding $50 million in 2023, offers flexible automation modules for diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, cleantech, and cosmetics, emphasizing compliance-ready solutions.
