Avante Raises $10 Million In Seed Funding Led By FUSE
Seattle-based startup Avante has secured $10 million in seed funding, led by FUSE, with participation from Ascend Venture Capital, Highsage, and strategic angel investors. The funding will propel Avante's product development, engineering, and data science teams. The company, founded by former OliveAI executives Rohan D’Souza and Carly Eckert, MD, Ph.D., along with Kabir Shahani, founder of Amperity, as executive chair, is focusing on untapped categories in enterprise software. CEO D’Souza highlights months of engaging with customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve lives and make a substantial economic impact.
FUSE's decision to fund Avante is based on their accurate issue assessment, technical approach, and the strength of the leadership team. Kellan Carter, FUSE's managing director, will join Avante’s board. D’Souza emphasizes Seattle's blend of deep engineering talent and entrepreneurship, planning to quadruple the core development team in the next 12 months. Avante initiated development in fall 2023 after an exhaustive market analysis, identifying substantial opportunities for both the company and its customers. The startup plans to recruit top talent and expects to transform both Avante and its customers with its innovative approach.
