WEX, the global commerce platform, has successfully completed the acquisition of Payzer, a high-growth, cloud-based provider of field service management software. Melissa Smith, Chair and CEO of WEX, expressed enthusiasm for the deal, welcoming the Payzer team to the WEX family. This strategic move aims to enhance WEX's offerings to its Mobility customers, approximately 150,000 of which operate field service management companies. The acquisition will introduce a new, scalable, and integrated business management software solution to cater to the diverse needs of these businesses. The definitive agreement for this acquisition was initially announced on October 26, 2023.
