US Fintech Squeeze.com Acquires Youtility To Revolutionise Comparison Market

US-based tech platform Squeeze has acquired Youtility, a UK start-up specializing in embedded home finance management services for banks and fintech companies. The integration of Youtility's B2B API platform with Squeeze's data analytics and consumer experience will provide a next-generation offering for UK consumers. This combined business aims to offer a seamless and integrated experience within existing banking and fintech apps, effectively eliminating the need for traditional price comparison websites. Youtility's clients include major institutions like Virgin Money, Wagestream, and Pockit, with plans to expand to additional large banking partnerships next year. With UK household energy bills rising 100% over the last three years, there is an urgent need for banks and fintech platforms to assist customers in better managing their finances. Squeeze has gained substantial traction in the US since its nationwide launch in 2021, delivering significant savings to customers on car and home insurance.

The company has achieved over 300% year-on-year revenue growth. Squeeze functions as an impartial consumer advocate and employs autonomous technology to simplify the decision-making process. The CEO of Squeeze, Elias Janetis, is enthusiastic about the prospect of helping UK consumers make informed financial decisions and save money. By combining Squeeze's consumer-facing expertise with Youtility's B2B services, the new entity aims to provide a unique embedded experience for both businesses and consumers. The co-founders of Youtility, Will Kostoris and Charlie Quigley, are excited to unite their technology with Squeeze's expertise from the US market, working together to help people save money on major expenses. This acquisition further enhances Squeeze's potential to revolutionize the UK price comparison market and offer consumers more control and financial certainty while collaborating with banks and fintech firms.
