Mews Acquires Nomi To Accelerate AI Guest Experiences And Personalization
Mews, a prominent player in the hospitality cloud sector, has made a strategic move by announcing the acquisition of Nomi, a Nashville-based hospitality startup. This acquisition aligns with Mews' core mission of enhancing guest experiences within the hospitality industry. Nomi's integration into Mews Guest Journey represents a significant step towards empowering hoteliers to provide exceptionally personalized interactions for their guests.
Nomi, founded in 2021, has developed an innovative travel guide that utilizes predictive analytics and AI to offer tailored recommendations to travelers. These recommendations take into account individual personality types, preferences, interests, and needs. For hotels, Nomi provides the invaluable capability of real-time customer insights, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of their guests and make data-informed operational decisions, ultimately delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Nomi's inception can be credited to the visionary co-founders, Tim Drisdelle, a former Apple engineer with experience in Siri and Apple retail payments, and Natasha Drisdelle, a seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Tim Drisdelle, who now leads the Guest Experience engineering team at Mews, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration.
The acquisition was orchestrated by Mews Ventures, the venture and investment arm of the company, dedicated to driving technological transformation in the hospitality industry. This acquisition represents the seventh strategic move by Mews Ventures, following previous acquisitions such as Cenium, Bizzon, and Hotello.
Richard Valtr, the founder of Mews, expressed delight in welcoming Nomi to the Mews family as they reiterate their commitment to personalizing guest experiences and fostering a sense of community in every hotel.
