Karen Clark & Company Launches RiskInsight Version 4.13
Karen Clark & Company (KCC) has launched RiskInsight® Version 4.13, a significant update to their open loss modeling platform. This release emphasizes improvements in software performance and the introduction of several powerful applications. Alongside this, KCC has introduced an updated US Hurricane Model, the sole Florida-approved model that explicitly incorporates the effects of climate change on the Gulf and East Coasts and heightened litigation in Florida.
Version 4.13 targets greater efficiency by reducing the RAM requirements for analyzing extensive databases. It introduces the LiveEvent Runner, which automates the real-time estimation of claims and losses, and Shareable Interactive Maps, expanding on RiskInsight's mapping capabilities to enhance the visualization of hazard, exposure, and loss data through high-resolution interactive maps, with the ability to share these insights across organizations.
Additional features include GIS exports and an integrated analysis template for rate filings, based on the certified KCC Hurricane Model Version 4.0. The update also includes new database fields and construction codes specifically designed for risk analysis in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
KCC CEO Karen Clark underscores the platform's comprehensive nature and its capacity to efficiently disseminate valuable insights within client organizations. KCC specializes in catastrophe modeling, climate and weather risk analysis, covering a wide array of natural disasters across more than 80 countries.
