FedEx Announces First-Of-Its-Kind Data-Driven Commerce Platform
FedEx has unveiled fdx, a groundbreaking data-driven commerce platform, revolutionizing the customer journey. Serving as the sole logistics company to provide end-to-end e-commerce solutions for businesses, fdx aims to simplify demand growth, conversion enhancement, fulfillment optimization, and return streamlining in a unified platform. FedEx President and CEO Raj Subramaniam, announcing the platform at the National Retail Federation’s Big Show, highlighted the company's transition into a digitally-led business leveraging its extensive physical transportation network, handling 15 million daily packages. fdx, scheduled for an official fall 2024 launch, is available in a private preview upon request, and businesses can sign up for more information. The platform integrates existing and new FedEx capabilities, offering digital features for customer demand growth, conversion improvement, shipment visibility, carbon emissions insights, and streamlined returns.
